How audit credits work, when they expire, and how to share them across teams.
Audit credits are a flexible alternative to a subscription — buy as you need them.
How credits work
Each Standard audit consumes 1 credit. Deep Dive audits consume credits proportional to the engagement size (typically 10-25). Credits live on your account, not the audit submission, so you can plan ahead.
Buying credits
/pricing/audits → pick a pack:
- Starter — 1 Standard audit ($99)
- Builder — 5 Standard ($449, save 10%)
- Pro Pack — 20 Standard ($1,799, save 10%) + 1 free Deep Dive credit
- Custom — talk to sales for >50 audits/year
All credits are non-expiring. They never burn just because you didn't use them yet.
Sharing credits across a team
If you're on Team or Enterprise, all members share a single credit pool. The owner (and any member with billing:write perm) can:
- See who consumed which credit (usage log in Account → Audits → Usage)
- Set per-member monthly caps (so juniors can't accidentally drain a quarter's budget)
- Allocate credits to specific projects (Pro Pack and above)
Refunds
If an audit fails for our reasons (infrastructure, misconfiguration, source-fetch failure), we refund the credit automatically — no ticket needed.
If you cancel a Deep Dive within 24h of submission, you get a 100% credit refund. After 24h: 50%. After human-review begins: no refund.
Standard audits cannot be cancelled (they finish in minutes), so this rarely applies.
