How proration works + when changes take effect.

Change plans whenever you need — we make it painless.

Upgrading (Free → Pro, Pro → Team)

Effective immediately. We:

  1. Charge a prorated amount for the rest of the current billing period
  2. Apply the new plan's quotas to your account on the spot
  3. Restart your billing cycle on the upgrade date (or keep your existing anchor — you choose)

Open Account → Billing → Change plan, pick the new tier, confirm.

Downgrading (Pro → Free, Team → Pro)

Effective at the end of your current billing period. We:

  1. Keep you on the higher plan until the period ends
  2. Send you a reminder email 7 days before the change
  3. Trim your usage to fit the new quotas at the cutover (e.g. excess Atlas wallets become read-only — never deleted)

Trim mechanics:

  • Excess wallets in Atlas: oldest go read-only first
  • Excess audit credits: roll over indefinitely
  • Excess seats: oldest member added becomes read-only first

You can re-activate any read-only resource by upgrading back.

Switching cycles (monthly ↔ annual)

Annual plans save 50%. Switch at any time:

  • Monthly → Annual: prorated upgrade. We credit the unused portion of your current monthly bill.
  • Annual → Monthly: takes effect at the next renewal. No refund of the discounted annual fee.

Cancelling

Account → Billing → Cancel subscription. You'll keep access through the end of the paid period, then drop to the Free plan. Your historical data is preserved indefinitely — you can resume anytime.

We never delete your audits, scans, or compliance receipts when you cancel.

Failed payments

If a charge fails, we retry 3 times over 7 days. After that, we downgrade you to the Free tier and email you. Your data stays put.

Invoices & receipts

All invoices auto-email when issued. Download anytime from Account → Billing → Invoices. They include your tax ID if you've added one.

For VAT / GST compliance: add your business details in Account → Billing → Tax details.
